This class will serve as an informative starting point for students new to Ashtanga as well as providing more in depth alignment and breathing knowledge than your average led class. Students will gain the confidence to flow through most of the Primary Series with plenty of time to stop and break down the asanas for maximum benefit and safety.
This class is especially appealing to students who like routine! The Ashtanga sequence is always the same, so you have the chance to really see your 'improvement' from week to week. This class is an excellent compliment to any Vinyasa based class as you will learn the basic asanas taught in most Flow classes and feel comfortable moving to your ujjayi breath.
